She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer F. Lorenzen and Ada M. Hanisch Lorenzen; her brothers, Don Lorenzen and Bill Lorenzen; and her siblings-in-law, Roger Meikle and Billie Jean Lorenzen.

She is survived by: her children, Steve Seemann (Jody) of Waterloo, William "Bill" Seemann (Kris) of Waterloo and Kara Turcotte Cedar (Todd); her grandchildren, Ben Seemann (Shelbie), Morgan Seemann, Natalie Seemann, Cassie Maljkovic (Slo), Mitch Seemann, Allie Turcotte, Elizabeth Turcotte, Matthew Turcotte and Katerinne Turcotte; her great grandchildren, Holland Turcotte and Bennett Seemann; and her siblings, Russell Lorenzen (Francis) of Ventura, Loren Lorenzen (Lu) of Traer and June Meikle of Sturgeon Bay, WI. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
