We are sad to announce that on October 18, 2020, at the age of 78, Ruth Northness of Waterloo, Iowa, born in New Hampton, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph A. Samec and Bertha I. Christianson Samec; her husband John Elroy Northness; and her brother Richard Samec. She is survived by: her children, John (Gail), Jason (Lindsey) and Julie Romeo (Jim); her grandchildren, Steven Northness (Crystal), Joshua Northness (Ashley), Brennen Northness, Jayden Northness and Anna Romeo; her great grandchildren, Finn Northness, Ethan Northness and Jade Northness; and her sisters, Eleanor Wilkes, Waterloo, Hazel Hammell (Kenny) and Wapello. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
