She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Gnade and Mable Shaw Gnade; her husband Arnold F. "Arnie" Weltzin; her daughter Kathy Kay; and her siblings, Helen Hatlestad, Gladys Kitterman, Doris Niedermann-Gerdis, Mickey Richmond-Perrin, Kenneth Gnade and Roland "Bud" Gnade.
She is survived by: her daughters, Diane Ostrem (Dave) of Cedar Falls, Debbie Wilson (Steve) of LaPorte City, Julie Schoville (Tom) of Bettendorf and Wendy Halbach (Mark) of Waverly; her great grandchildren, Chris Wilson (Randi) of Waverly and Sgt. David Wilson (Jess); and also, Jack of Mountain Home, Scott Schoville (Caitlin), Parker of Davenport, Emily Halbach of Evansdale and Hannah Halbach of Waverly. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and a close knit group of friends.
