She was predeceased by: her husband Rev. Don H. Polston; her parents, John Huston and Anna Huston; and her brothers, Merle, John and Arthur Huston.

She is survived by: her son Stephen (Jean); her granddaughter Kelly Bollinger (Greg); her great grandchildren, Quinn, Lacey and Rhett Bollinger; her granddaughter Jessica Davis (Trey); her great grandchildren, Eleanor and Walter Davis; her daughter Ann Polston Gourlay (Will); her grandson Caleb Lund (Rachel); her great grandchildren, Levi and Rosalyn Lund; her granddaughter Victoria Funkhouser (Kevin); her great grandchildren, Anika and Oskar Funkhouser; and her sister-in-law Margaret Huston.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Tower Park (4140 Kimball Ave, Waterloo, IA 50701). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Cedar Valley Church (3520 Ansborough Ave, Waterloo, IA 50701).
