It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Russell Eugene Towsley of Waterloo, Iowa, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edgar Towsley and Esther Towsley (Mommer); his wife Carol Kingsley Arnold; his children, Bryan Towsley, Susan Briley (Chet) and Sandra Bell (Bobby); his stepsons, Jim Arnold Jr. (Sheri) and Scott Arnold (Angela); his son Bruce Towsley; and his sister Virginia M. Hansen. He was also cherished by 11 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to the Cedar Valley Hospice or the First Congregational Church of Christ.
