With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roy Junior Cole of Waterloo, Iowa, born in Mount Sterling, Iowa, who passed away on September 21, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy R. Cole and Sylvia Boyd Cole; his stepfather Gerald Sampson; his son Roy Christopher Cole; his grandson Andrew "Geno" Aragon; his son-in-law Mark Gardener; and his siblings, Virgil, Harold Cole and Arlene Gaskell.
He is survived by: his former wife Ruby Anderson; his wife Jacalyn Cole of Waterloo; his daughters, Lynne Golinaux of Newton, Patti Gardener of Newton and Anita Coryell (Frank) of Los Angeles, CA; his grandchildren, Martha, Laura, Melanie, Matthew, Mark, Mason, Adam and Rachelle; his brothers, Ralph Cole of Grinnell, Lloyd Cole of Santa Fe, NM, LaVene of Newton and Richard Cole of Newton; and his half-sister Vicki Lane of Stockport. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
