He was predeceased by: his parents, Vern Niedermann and Marvene Niedermann (Cavanaugh); his wife Julie Webber Johnson; and his stepdaughter Shelly Usher. He is survived by: his stepchildren, Tonia Poterack (Greg) and Andy Johnson (Ashley); his grandchildren, Mitchell Poterack, Drew Eyestone, Kelsie Eyestone and Luke Johnson; and his siblings, Jerilyn Strelow (Frank) of Waterloo, Gene Niedermann (Jan) of Dunkerton and Craig Niedermann (Pat) of Reinbeck. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
