It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Hoeppner of Waterloo, Iowa, born in Cherokee, Iowa, who passed away on March 6, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Hoeppner and Susan Hoeppner (Burch); and his siblings, Dorothy Goodwin, Dick, Jerry and Jim Hoeppner.
He is survived by: his children, Mike of Waterloo, Don Hoeppner (Taylor) of Waterloo, Jessica Mackey (Travis) of Cedar Rapids, Bethany of Cedar Falls and Brooke Kattelman of Cedar Falls; his siblings, Ronald, Tim (Joyce), Tom Hoeppner (Karen) and Patty Hoeppner; and his siblings-in-law, Pat Hoeppner and Glenn Goodwin. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
