He was predeceased by: his father Orval Pierson. He is survived by: his mother Jewel Pierson (Gray) of Parkersburg; his wife Jolene Ford August of Waterloo; his daughters, Dana Schilling (Michael) of Waterloo and Sarah Moses (John) of Waterloo; his granddaughters, Courtney Holmes (Duke), Taylor Pierson, Paige Pierson, Lina Pierson, Antonia and Graciela Chavarria; and his siblings, Rebecca Pierson of Arizona, Connie Peters (Robert) of Grundy Center and William Pierson of Waterloo. He is also survived by 12 Great-Grandchildren.
