He is survived by: his wife Judee M. Simons of Cedar Falls; his children, Ronald L. Baer of Cedar Falls and Galadriel K. Walker (Jamey) of Muscatine; his grandsons, Jacob D. and Justin L. Nie; his siblings, Judy DeLong (Paul) of Eden Utah, Jean Marvitz (David) of Waterloo, Carol Tamboli (Aspi) of Houston, Texas and Charles Baer (Jennice) of New Hartford; his siblings-in-law, Lois Differding of Raymond, Gene Simons (Theresa Federspiel) of Cedar Falls and Gary Simons of Nora Springs; his son-in-law Gary Nie of Muscatine; his stepgrandsons, Jacob Walker (Aricka) and Thadd Walker (Hailey); and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Hudson, Vaeda, Thatcher and Carson.
