She was predeceased by: her father Henry Emken, Jr.; her husband Dave; her mother Gertrude Madaris (Fellows); her stepfather Robert Madaris; her sister Nancy Rigdon; and her brother-in-law Dick Rigdon.
She is survived by: her children, David G. Berry (Michelle) of Cape Coral, FL, Daniel L. Berry (Sheila) of Alexandria, VA, Judy Poland (Mike) of Cedar Falls and Jody Knebel (Mark) of Bondurant; her half-brother Vernon Emken (Florence) of Round Rock, TX; and her stepsons, David L. Berry Jr. (Debra) of Tulsa, OK, Bruce Berry (Cindy) of Cedar Falls and Todd Berry (Pam) of Denver, CO. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
