With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Ricky Beatty of Waterloo, Iowa, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Larry E. Hickman and Diana K. Randall Hickman; his brother-in-law Rick Pettit; his niece Christina Regenold; his aunt Karon; and his pet Trash.
He is survived by: his wife Sally Beatty of Waterloo; his children, Michael Beatty and Jo Ann Beatty of Trimont, MN; his stepdaughters, Valarie Culpepper of Henderson, NV and Michelle Culpepper of Rockford, IL; his siblings-in-law, Marie Wright (Keith) of Waterloo, Sue Lynn Pettit of Denver, CO and Charlie Blanck (Cristi) of Florida; and his pet Bourbon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Tower Park (4140 Kimball Ave, Waterloo, IA 50701). A memorial service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
