He is survived by: his wife Sally; his children, Scott Sides (Leigh), Jeff Sides (Janell) and Janan Timmer (Mike); his grandchildren, Adam Pennell (Ashley), Matt Pennell (Jamie), Kimberly Sides (Jacob Schmit), Natalie Sides (Noah Pittman), Nelson Sides, Nora Sides, Naomi Sides, Ashley Heller, Austin Timmer (Madi Winter), Andrew Timmer and Allison Timmer; and his sister Helen Merchant (Patrick) of Bedford, IN.. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
