It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Vincent Carlson (Waterloo, Iowa), born in Belle Plaine, Iowa, who passed away on January 14, 2020, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Eldo Carlson; his father-in-law Harry Doering; and his brother-in-law Ron Doering. He is survived by: his mother Betty Carlson (Shedenhelm); his wife Peggy Doering; his children, Brandon Carlson (Wendy) of Farmington and Brooke Heuer (John) of Waterloo; his grandchildren, Jaden, Maia Carlson, Bailey, Betsy, Brady Krantz and Rubi Heuer; his siblings, Gerald Carlson (Sandy) of Clarion, IA, Alan Carlson (Lynn) of Independence, IA, Marilyn Panosh of Littleton and Kathy Draisey (Steve) of Lee's Summit; his mother-in-law Lue Doering of Iowa Falls; and his sisters-in-law, Sue Graber (Neil) and Diane Kappel (Denny) of Iowa Falls. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
