He was predeceased by: his parents, Clemmons Sr. Reiter and Rose Reiter (Frost); his wife Joan Bovy; his daughter Mary; his great grandchild Kanen; his brothers, Clem Jr. Reiter (Edith) and Robert Reiter (Marlene); and his siblings-in-law, Leonard Zmolek, Raphael Bovy, Joseph Bovy, Marv Lund, James Keough and Elizabeth Lund.
He is survived by: his children, Tim Reiter (Jody), Roger Reiter (Pam), Loretta Doepke (Steve), Annette Pillar (David) and Charlotte Nielsen (Ronald); and his siblings, Kenny Reiter (Donna), Terry Reiter (Diane) and Kathleen Zmolek. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren.
A rosary will be held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service (400 South St, Waterloo, IA 50701). Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (650 Stephan Ave, Waterloo, IA 50701).
