He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Aschenbrenner and Ethel May Aschenbrenner (Watters); and his sister Donna Harriman. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Aschenbrenner of Waterloo; and his children, Dana Aschenbrenner (Julie) of Iowa City, Michael Aschenbrenner (Elizabeth) of Lake Mills, Steve Aschenbrenner (Kristi) of Osage, Scott Crawford (Sheri) of Waterloo, Jeri Poell (Greg) of Davenport and Tim Crawford (Brenda) of Cedar Falls. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and many nieces & nephews.
