He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Clabby and Pearl Clabby (Bloes); his wife Donna Hickey; his stepfather Don McDermott; his brother William; and his sisters-in-law, Marilyn and Joann.
He is survived by: his children, Mike (Casey) of Sugar Grove, IL, Dave (Lori) of Waterloo and Ann Satterlee (Brian) of Hudson; his grandchildren, Courtney Bortle (C. C.) of Cedar Rapids, Tim Clabby of Dallas, TX, Kyle Clabby-Kane, Reed Clabby of Waterloo and Cameron Satterlee of Cedar Falls; and his sister JoAnne James. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
