It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard A. Hoppe of Waterloo, Iowa, born in La Porte City, Iowa, who passed away on May 11, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Hoppe and Evelyn Phillips Hoppe; his wife Helen M. Jensen; his son Craig; his great grandchild Tristin Allen; and his brother Kenneth (Marilyn Hoppe).
He is survived by: his children, Karen Allen (Craig) of Sandwich, IL, Chris (Arlene Batanni) and Kent (Julie); and his daughter-in-law Debra Hoppe. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
