She was predeceased by: her parents, Eldo Klingeman and Willa Mae Pixler Klingeman; her husband LaVerne; her brother Billy; her children-in-law, Dennis Frost and Becky Johanningmeier; and her grandson Chad Grant.
She is survived by: her spouse Palmer Johanningmeier; her children, Deborah Frost-Schellhorn (Larry) of Waterloo, Clyde Johanningmeier of Independence, Bruce Johanningmeier of Independence and Kevin Johanningmeier of Independence; her grandchildren, Jennifer Columbo (Rodger), Heather Johanningmeier, Shane Frost (Kristi), Aimee Frost-Grant (Jeremy), Christine Fangman (Greg), Adam Johanningmeier, Angie Anderson (Jeff), Jill Johanningmeier, Katie Johanningmeier and Sara Wolf (Josh); her nieces and nephews, Vickie Klingeman, Mark Klingeman, Brenda Klingeman, Gail Klingeman and Todd Klingeman; and her sister Jean Nissen of Oelwein. She is also survived by six great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren.
