He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Sr. Baracz and Bernice Baracz (Karpowicz); his brother Henry Baracz Jr.; and his nephew Nicholas Mohs IV. He is survived by: his wife Diana Hope of Cedar Falls; his daughters, Betsy Smith of Waterloo and Lindsey Baracz of St. Paul, MN; his grandchildren, Anna, Mary and JP Smith; and his sister Aurelia Nutaitis (Rich) of Cleveland, OH.
