He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jerome Roethler and Marjorie Brooks Roethler; his wife Judy Owens; his daughter Julie Kacher (Darin) of Tulsa, Okla.; his daughter-in-law Dana Roethler of Cedar Falls; his granddaughters, Whitney Phillmann (Rob Janozik), Jessica Rousselow (Sam Sarsfield), Madison Rousselow (Ben Hale), Meredith Nedelcoff (Austin), Hannah Roethler and Olivia Rottinghaus; his great grandchildren, Aria and Scotlyn; his brothers-in-law, Greg Owens (Roxanne) of Junction City and Philo Kipp of Jupiter, Florida; his nephew Dan Salyer (Nancy) of Jupiter, Florida; his niece Janine Zinkevcz (Brent) of Greenville, Wisc.; his son Mark A. Roethler; and his siblings, Bill Roethler (Donna) and Lila Kipp.
