It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul Bernard Nelson (Waterloo, Iowa), who passed away on October 12, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Merrill Nelson and Lena Marie Nelson (DeJaeger); and his siblings, Donald, Gerald Nelson, Darlene Sells, Marilyn Schuchhardt and Mary Stoelting.
He is survived by: his wife LeAnn Jo Minnick; his children, Paul Nelson Jr. of Waterloo, Dimita Freed, Kimberly Brustkern (Benjamin) of Waterloo and Kristie Richardson (Robert); his grandchildren, Meryia, Tyler, Gabrielle, Carter, Kiara, Jazilyn, Tiana and Kaden; his great grandchildren, Sophia and Archer; and his siblings, Dale (Mariann) of Holiday Lake, Ronald (Bonnie) of Waterloo and Barbara Peterson of Waterloo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
