She is survived by: her husband Giraud Parker, Jr.; her children, Karen Holmes, Douglas Mayes (Catheleena) and Keith Mayes; her brothers, Iverson H. Holmes (Beth) and Larry E. Holmes; her stepbrother Clyde Collins; her sisters, Pamela M. Holmes Bateaste and Paula F. Holmes Horn; and her friend Dorthy Thompson. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
