It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Orren Nicholson of Waterloo, Iowa, born in Ottumwa, Iowa, who passed away on June 23, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Orren W. Nicholson and Francis D. Tippen Nicholson; his son Michael Nicholson; and his granddaughter Kelly Nicholson. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Nicholson of Waterloo; and his children, Kenneth Nicholson (Rebecca) of Waterloo, Dennis Nicholson (Gary) of Cedar Falls, Marvin Kuker (Robyn) of Waverly and Debra Mauldin (Kim) of Cedar Rapids. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
