He was predeceased by: his parents, John C. Meyers and Olive Meyers (Liester); his stepfather Leo McGee; his siblings, June Cannon, Betty Shumate, John and Dean Meyers; and his stepbrothers, Leo Jr., Ron, Lyola and Willis McGee.
He is survived by: his son Gary Meyers (Judy) of Cedar Falls; his grandson Greg Meyers (Bea) of Auburn; his great grandchildren, Peyton, Hayden and Taylan; and his stepsisters, Geri Ott of Denver and Mildred Ellingson of Rochester. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
