With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Norma A. Brody (Waterloo, Iowa), born in Renwick, Iowa, who passed away on September 19, 2019 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Hanson and Alice Olson Hanson; and her siblings, Ralph Hanson, Marjorie Bennett and Dorothy Dilley.
She is survived by: her husband James Brody; her children, Becky Hiatt (Jack), Emmet Brody (Becky), Cal Brody (Ardelle) and Ann Brody (Stan Feldhacker); her grandchildren, Jenny Boevers (Kurt) of Cedar Falls, IA, Jack Hiatt, Heather Brody, Cedar Falls, Amy Spinler (Matt), Dave Hansen (Jess), Holly Matthias (Kyle), Vanessa Brody, Heidi Homan (Aaron), Aaron Brody (Kelsey), Laura Carlson (Cliff), Leona Pliss (Harold) and Susan Feldhacker; her brother Marvin Hanson (LaVonne); and her sister-in-law Connie Drewes (LaVerne). She is also survived by 38 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.
