She was predeceased by: her parents, Bea Parks and Cherry Lambert Parks; her grandchildren, LaKisha Williams and Jamar Owens; her siblings, Eva Parks, Mayola Hemet, Rhoda Cunningham, Willie B. Stewart, Louise Horton, Charles, Earl and Harris Parks; and her daughter-in-law Patricia Owens.
She is survived by: her former spouse Jesse Owens; her children, Jesse Owens, Jr., Earnest Owens (Ellen) of Waterloo, Posey McCellan of Aurora, CO, Patrisha "Tudda" Johnson (Arthur) of Waterloo, Peggy "Cookie" Owens of Waterloo, Linda "Mookie" Owens of Waterloo and Wanda James (Dexter) of Waterloo; and her sister Posey LeFlore of Waterloo. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; twelve great-great-grandchildren.
