She is survived by: her husband William "Bill" Thies of Waterloo; her daughters, Diane VanEman (David) of Dunkerton, Becky King (Dan) of Waterloo and Janet Bradley of Cedar Falls; and her sister Nancy Eldridge of LaPorte City. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild.
