She was predeceased by: her parents, George E. Brown and Mary Arminda Puffer Brown; and her brother Everett "Doug" Brown. She is survived by: her children, Brian Durnan (Sara) of New Hartford and Andrea Fratrik (Ira) of Cedar Falls; her grandchildren, Kailey, Montana, Jocelyn, Julia and Annabeth; her brothers, Max Brown (Sally) of Orlando, FL., Charles Roger Brown of Palmdale, CA, Dave Brown of Mechanicsville, Joel Brown of Mechanicsville and Robert Brown of Burlington; and her sister-in-law Pat Brown of Ames.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Iowa Public Radio or Cedar Valley Hospice.
