She was predeceased by: her parents, John 'Sam Samuel and Grace B. Ford Shuey; her sons, Del Barfels and Curtis Barfels; her granddaughter Angie Amundson; and her brother Eugene Shuey.
She is survived by: her former husband Charles Dean Barfels; her children, Steve Barfels (Vicki) of Hudson, Don Barfels (Diane), Charles Barfels (Diane), Evansdale (Troy Barfels) and Sharon Cisewski (Wayne) of Mosinee; her grandchildren, Aaron, Joel, Casey, Wayne, Anthony, Charlie Joe, Daniel, Matthew, Mary, Sean, Stephanie, Brandon and Amelia; her daughters-in-law, Tamara Barfels of Floral City and Karin Wilson of Waterloo; and her sister-in-law Darlene Shuey of Conrad. She is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
