He was predeceased by: his parents, Ready Ross (Tolor) and Joe Ross; and his son Joseph. He is survived by: his children, Wilmot Williams of Waterloo, Samuel Joe Ross of Minnesota, Abednego Joe Ross of Cedar Falls, Trokon Ross of Minnesota, Patrick, Neetu Joe, Taye Joe and Liberia.

Memorials may be directed to his family.
