He was predeceased by: his parents, Nikola Mrdalj and Jelena Mrdalj; and his siblings, Zivko Mrdalj and Dragica Sasic. He is survived by: his spouse Neda Mrdalj; his daughter Ljiljana Mrdalj of Waterloo; and his brothers, Jovan Mrdalj (Mara) of Serbia and Drago Mrdalj (Zorka) of Croatia.
