He was predeceased by: his father Virgil Collins; his stepmother Mitzi Collins; his grandparents, Herschal, Eleanor Julian, Warren and Stella Collins; his brother-in-law William Baumeier; and his great-nephew Layton Matthew.
He is survived by: his mother Connie Collins (Julian); his stepfather Stan Raskow of Whitleyville, TN; and his siblings, Jill Collins of Gladbrook, IA, Christine Fischer (Jeff) of Whitleyville, TN, Lisa Podgorski (Drew) of Roscoe, IL and John Collins of Guttenberg, IA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
