With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Micky Shelton of Waterloo, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 22, 2024 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Micky may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Broell and Dorothy Broell (Broughton); and her siblings, Marcia Broell and Michael Broell. She is survived by: her husband Bill Shelton of Waterloo; her daughters, Keeley Lobato (Joseph) of Colorado Springs, CO and Marnie Shelton (Sean Anderson) of Waterloo; her grandson Niko Lobato of Colorado Springs; and her sister Cathleen Webber of Waterloo.
