He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent R. Oberle and Maryann Oberle (Studebaker); his son Michael V. Oberle; and his granddaughter Laura Cox. He is survived by: his spouse Kathryn M. Pierson; his daughters, Khristina Thiessen of Dubuque, Miki Cox (Brad) of Waterloo and Veronica Oberle of Bradenton, Florida; his grandchildren, Ryan, Justin, Ben, Adam, Kassandra and Cody; and his siblings, Pat Oberle of Minneapolis, George Oberle (Dee) of Little Rock, Dixie McCann of Cedar Falls, Darlene Ripple (Hugh) of Rochester and Vickie Weavers (Gary) of Solon.
