He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Berry and Alice Berry (Burger); his son Mitchell Alan; his granddaughter Madison Forbes; and his sister Carol Mehlert (Duane).
He is survived by: his children, Rodney Berry of Cedar Falls, Kelly Kisling (Allen) of Parkersburg, Ona Wygle of Waverly, Josh Berry (JoAnn) of Cedar Falls and Brita Marzen (Derrick) of Norwalk; his grandchildren, Allison, Emma, Zach, Sean (Jen), Andrew, Becky, Jacob, Macey, Cael, Bodhi, Remy, Allie, Harper and Lyra; his sister Nancy Rieck (Ron) of Center Point; and his nieces and nephews, Lisa Mehlert of Cedar Rapids, Cathy Thuringer (John) of Phoenix, Randy Mehlert (Laureen) of Sioux Falls, Ryan Rieck (Amy) of Center Point and Dan Rieck (Sarah) of Center Point. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
