He is survived by: his children, Josh Hanesford (Michelle) of Waterloo, Shanda Armstrong (Kerry) of Waterloo, Tiffanie Bruno of Waterloo, Rachael Bruno (Eric) of Gilbertville and Sara Bruno (Justin) of Waterloo; his grandchildren, Alyvia, Karter, Kash, Brooklin, Jayce and Camrin; and his siblings, Steve Bruno (Becky) of Davenport, Tony Bruno of Waterloo, Mary Diane Zahler (Ralph) of Wisconsin and Lianne Wilson (Hale) of Des Moines.
