It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Melanie Sue Geltz of Waterloo, Iowa, who passed away on November 29, 2023, at the age of 44, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Michael Geltz; and her uncle Randy Merry. She is survived by: her mother Sharon Geltz (Merry) of Cedar Falls; her siblings, William of Evansdale and Stephanie Geltz of Cedar Falls; and her nephew Patrick Geltz.

Memorials may be directed to one of her favorite places, the Cedar Valley Arboretum and Botanic Gardens.
