Maxine Morrison Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Maxine Morrison of Waterloo, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 15, 2025 at the age of 103. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar A. Bailey and Alvina Bailey (Mielke); her husband Dr. Robert Earl Morrison; her son James Morrison; her brother Dr. Robert Bailey; and her sister-in-law Solveig Bailey.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Morrison (Bill R. Douglas) of Clutier, Mary Ann Mathis (Jim) of Elkhart, Betsy Morrison of El Rito, Susan Morrison (Tim Trumpp) of Cedar Falls and Bill Morrison of Cedar Falls. She is also survived by cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Locke (1519 W 4th St, Waterloo, IA 50702). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Memorials Allen College (1519 W 4th St, Waterloo, IA 50702).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Maxine's name to North Star Community Services, Northeast Iowa Food Bank, Cedar Valley Hospice, or Allen College School of Nursing.
