It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Max Van Riper of Waterloo, Iowa, who passed away on September 26, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Lawson and Alta Griffith Lawson; her former spouse Deforrest Bush; her son Gary Bush; her brother Herbert Lawson; her daughter-in-law Oky Bush; and her close friend Jim McCarter.
She is survived by: her children, Bob Bush (Anita) of Waterloo, Randy Bush (Barb Sharp) of Waterloo and Diane Monaghan (Kenny) of Thornton, Colo.; her grandchildren, Christie Inman (Jesse), Gary Bush, Brad Bush, Kimberly Massman (Aaron), Dusty Bush (Manila), Lisa Good (Justin), Richard Monaghan (Christin), Sara Bush and Jennifer Schlatter (Justin); and her close friend Mariam Kackley. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great grandchildren.
