She was loved and cherished by many people including: her former husband Gerald "Jerry" Lien; her children, Brandon Lien (Cathy) of Cedar Falls, IA and Renate Lien Bello of Easthampton, MA; her grandchildren, Jake, Austin Lien and Jenna Schmitz; her siblings, Yvonne Brehm (Thomas) and Rene Zwingel; her nieces and nephews, Thorsten, Johannes Brehm, Jesse Zwingel, Nadine of Germany and Kathinka Zwingel of Germany; her close friend Kris Zimmer of Des Moines, IA.; and her brother Hans Zwingel.
