The passing of Mary McBride of Waterloo, Iowa leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on March 2, 2025 at the age of 81. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer M. Smith and Grace M. Smith (Seery); her husband Bill McBride; and her sons, Kevin and Mark McBride.
She is survived by: her children, Marcie Cook (David) of Rocky Mount, N. C. and Shawn (Lisa) of Waterloo, IA; her grandchildren, Joseph, Kelley, Nathan, Brandon, Molly and Jaxon; and her friend Nancy.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service West Ridgeway (300 West Ridgeway Ave., Waterloo, IA 50701). A vigil service was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (650 Stephan Ave, Waterloo, IA 50701).
Memorial contributions may be directed in Linda's name to her family which will be designated elsewhere at a later date.
