She was predeceased by: her parents, Clark Henry and Julia Haurum Henry; her former husband William Patrick Murphy; her spouse Thomas Carroll; her son Michael Murphy; and her sisters, Helen Barcus and Jean Kammeyer.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy Murphy Feiden (Joe) of Springfield, IL., Joanne Leavens (Bob) of Huxley, Iowa and Tim Murphy of Des Moines; her daughter-in-law Bonnie Murphy of Coralville; her grandchildren, Erin Murphy, Meredith Jacobson (Eric), Annie Feiden, Nicholas Leavens (Alyssa), Tracy Kroeger (Dan), Patrick Murphy (Zuleyma) and Kathleen Tonnies (Robert); and her great grandchildren, Ben, Allie, Adelle, William, Lea and June.
