Mary Ellen Tonkin Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Ellen Tonkin (Waterloo, Iowa), born in Bassett, Nebraska, who passed away on June 27, 2021 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Minnig and Neva Minnig (Zahl). She is survived by: her husband Robert Tonkin; her daughters, Diane Larson (Scott), Karen Cloyd (James) and Kathryn Olson (Curt); her grandchildren, Jacob (Chloe), Noelle, Hassan, Temesgen, Elizabeth, Colton, Emilee, Christian and Sabrina; and her brother Don Minnig. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
