It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Spear of Waterloo, Iowa, who passed away on January 20, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Hare and Mabel Hare; her husband Edward Spear; her granddaughter Jessica Spear; and her siblings, Velma Purdy, Bob Hare and Lawrence Hare.
She is survived by: her sons, Mike Spear (Chrissy) and Steve Spear (Patty); her grandchildren, Ashley, Meagan, Scott, Samantha and Clayton; her great grandchildren, Hope, Rian and Noah; and her brother Kenneth Hare (Virginia).
In Lieu of flowers and all styles of sympathy memorials may be sent to St. Croix Hospice (101 Elkader St, Strawberry Point, IA 52076) for their wonderful care shown to Marilyn.
