With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marcia M. Courbat of Waterloo, Iowa, born in Frederika, Iowa, who passed away on January 16, 2021 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Zickuhr and Frieda Piper Zickuhr; her spouse Dale Courbat; her children, Martha, Dale, Jr. and Darrell; her stepmother Josephine Buss; her parents-in-law, Ernest and Ruth Courbat; and her siblings, Herbert Zickuhr and Margaret Olds.
She is survived by: her children, Connie Courbat of Waterloo, Dr. Mike Courbat (Deborah Lewis-Fravel) of Indianapolis and David Courbat of Waterloo; her grandsons, Chris Courbat (Briana), Jeff Courbat (Sara) and Andrew Courbat (Nancy Wulf); her stepgrandchildren, Mayme Polstra (John) and Cory Fravel (Pam); her great grandchildren, Lily, Kayden, Gabby, Gracie, Laynee, Lydia, Connor, Alex, Dakota (Kennedy) and Nathan; her great great grandchild Liam; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Audra, Ben, Allison and Dylan (Bailey).
