He was predeceased by: his parents, Casper Voelker and Alberta Voelker (Miller); his brother Lee Voelker; his niece Pennie Neumiller; and his close friend Jo Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Hartman; his children, Corrine Bockenstedt (Kevin Baumler) of West Union, Craig Voelker (Nikki) of Cedar Falls and Corey Voelker (Jenne) of Manchester; and his sister Julie Neumiller (Pat) of Baudette, Minnesota.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
