She was predeceased by: her parents, William Joseph and Clara Margaret Schmitz Knipp; her former husband William Adrian Collins; her husband Erwin "Erv" Wehling; her son-in-law Bob Twaites; and her brothers, James, Donald, John, Marvin and Robert Knipp.
She is survived by: her children, Johnpaul of Cedar Falls, William K. of Gilbert, Ariz., Christie Twaites of Waterloo, Sherry Peters (Ron) of Waterloo and Paula Moore (Doug) of Waterloo; and her sister Mary Lou Roethler of Georgia. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
