She is survived by: her daughters, Ashley Samington (Shermondez Wise Sr.) and Demetria Campbell; her grandchildren, Paris, Paige, Ronald, Imani Alston, Shamya Campbell, Shermondez Jr. and Mar'Quan Wise; her sisters, Annie Pearl Stevenson (Pastor Marshall), Delores Sisk (Norris) and Charlene Miller (Ted) of Oxford, MS.; her close friends, Patricia Toles and Jackie Bryant; and her godchildren, Tay'John Davis and Danielle Corner.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Union Missionary Baptist Church (209 Jackson St, Waterloo, IA 50703). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
