She is survived by: her children, Caine Thomas (Ann) of Iowa City, Luke Thomas of Waterloo and Claire Price (Joe) of Waterloo; and her siblings, Daniel Kapler, David Kapler, Steven Kapler, Phillip Kapler, Jeffrey Kapler, Julene Contreras, Linda Connell, Elaine Shelton, Sheila Kapler and Renee Thompson.
